Blanche Emily Jones

	Blanche Emily Jones, age 99, born March 19, 1902, traveled to home to be with her Lord on April 18, 2000.
	Blanche was born and raised in Williamson County, Ill.  She married Herbert Lee Jones on May 11, 1924.  Blanche was the proud mother of 11 children and made her home in Pinckneyville where she worked as a housewife, mother and restaurant cook.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her beloved husband and six of her 11 children.
	At last running count, Blanche sustained a family tree containing 11 children, 32 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
	 She is survived by five of her 11 children, Margurite Hardin of Pinckneyville, Ivanell Sommers of Baldwin, Barbara Porter of Pinckneyville, Carrie Morgan and husband, Clifford of Ava and Curtis Jones and wife, Shirley Gail of Pinckneyville.
	Blanche was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, and served on sever womens auxiliary boards within her community.
	She was an avid music lover and could often be seen dancing at public functions.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
	All friends and family were invited to celebrate her life and attend visitation at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Friday, April 20 from 6 until 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until services.
	Funeral services were held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m.  Burial followed at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
 	Memorials may be made to the Pinckneyville Park Playground Project.
